01 Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of goodAPI, a web-based API monitoring and testing platform. By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to these terms and applicable laws.
02 Description of Service
goodAPI provides tools for testing HTTP endpoints, running scheduled API health checks, inspecting response information, and reviewing monitoring history. Available features may change as the service develops.
Monitoring results reflect checks performed by goodAPI at particular times. They are not a guarantee that an API will remain available or behave the same way between checks.
03 Accounts and Security
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to take reasonable steps to keep your account and login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
- Do not share access in a way that compromises your account or the service.
- Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
- Do not create accounts or impersonate others using misleading information.
04 Acceptable Use
You may use goodAPI only for lawful purposes and for endpoints you own or are authorized to test. You must not:
- Use the service to attack, overload, disrupt, or interfere with systems or networks.
- Probe private, internal, or otherwise unauthorized endpoints.
- Attempt to bypass security controls, usage limits, or access restrictions.
- Use the service for unlawful surveillance, fraud, or malicious activity.
- Abuse the monitoring system with excessive or deliberately harmful requests.
- Reverse engineer or interfere with the service except where applicable law permits it.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect goodAPI, other users, or third-party systems.
05 Monitoring and Requests
When you configure a monitor, goodAPI sends HTTP requests to the URL you provide. You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to send those requests and that they comply with the target service's rules.
Monitoring frequency, request timing, network conditions, timeouts, and third-party responses can affect results. Checks may be delayed, interrupted, or unsuccessful.
You must configure monitoring intervals responsibly and avoid using the service in ways that place unreasonable load on monitored endpoints.
06 Availability and Changes
We aim to keep goodAPI useful and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, continuous monitoring, or error-free operation. Maintenance, hosting limitations, network failures, and other circumstances may affect service.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. Where appropriate, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes.
07 Data and Privacy
Your use of goodAPI is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled.
You should not submit passwords, private credentials, confidential information, or sensitive response content unless the service explicitly supports the relevant use and you understand the associated risks.
08 Intellectual Property
The goodAPI service, branding, interface, and associated materials are owned by their respective rights holders or used with permission. These terms do not transfer ownership of those rights to you.
You retain the rights you hold in your own content and remain responsible for ensuring that your use of third-party materials is authorized.
09 Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, goodAPI is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties that are not expressly provided.
Health-check results are informational. You should not rely solely on goodAPI for critical infrastructure, emergency response, or decisions requiring guaranteed availability.
10 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, goodAPI and its operator will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. Any applicable legal protections remain in effect.
11 Suspension and Termination
You may stop using goodAPI at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when necessary to address misuse, security risks, violations of these terms, or operational requirements, subject to applicable law.
12 Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as goodAPI evolves. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use after changes take effect may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
13 Governing Law
These terms are subject to applicable laws. Any governing law or dispute-resolution provision should be completed based on the operator's circumstances and applicable legal requirements before the page is published.
14 Contact
If you have questions about these terms, contact the goodAPI operator through the official contact method published on the website.
